 LI: To tell others what we love about being a Pacific Islander 

What I love about being a Pacific Islander is the food and I love showing others what it mean's to be a Pacific Islander. The thing I liked about this activity is that I got to talk about my Tongan culture and my favourite food Puaka (Pig).

These six photo's represent the fun times I had in camp, home the ocean and Including camp and school I loved doing everything and making new memories in each of these place's. My favourite activity was camp because it was my first time going to camp and it was really fun we got to climbe something called the High Beam but my favourite was the kanuking because it was my first time doing something on the water other then sailing.

 LI: To tell others what your favourite Tongan food is

One of my favourite parts of being Tongan is the food is amazing and yummy my favourite food is Pig becasue how the skin is so nice and theres so much meat in the Pigs. My uncle and Dad sometimes let me cook the pig it takes 4 hours to do that but it nice when its cooked then we all eat the pig. And have heaps of other food like lu and Otai.

The group of people I like working with is my rugby team becasue we get to play and evole from our mistakes in rugby. And we get to have the feeling of when we tackle our oppents we love it when we run with the ball and break the lines of defence. My favourite part about this DLO is that I got share my interest in rugby with others.

Me and my group wrote what we think it means to be a child of this Ocean. I feel like being a child of this Ocean is very important to us pacific people. What I enjoyed about doing this DLO isn that I could share my feelings with other people.

An important object in my life

 LI: To tell others a object that is important in my ife

The object that is important in my life is the traditional Maori necklace it was given to me when I turn 11 years old and it was from a speical friend of mine. And ever since i've never taken it off becasue it is like a good luck charm and I feel like it's important that we keep those close to us if its in person or not. And this is why this object is important to me.

This DLO shows all my cultures and how proud I am about my cultures the amazing thing I love about all my cultures is that I get to explore facts and other stuff about them like food and discovers my culture made. They all have unique things about well to me they do they reflect things about me and the way I am towards others.

My Sporting Hero

LI: To show who my sporting hero is.

This DLO is about my sporting hero Michael Jordan he is a really great inspiration to me when I play basketball. He is the person that introduced me in to the NBA in the first place, ever since I saw him play in the NBA I felt like thats what I'm going to do and thats what my dream is going to be. My mind is set on getting better and better with my shooting and with my dribbiling so I can be the best NBA SuperStar the world has ever seen.

Proud of my roots.

 LI: To design a T-Shirt that shows I'm proud of my roots.

Today I designed a T-Shirt that shows I'm proud of my roots the reasons why I choose these pictures are because they all show my cultures. I choose these flags because they all represent my cultures the flags I put on there are the Tongan flag, New Zealand flag, Australian flag and the british flag. The patterens I choose are all about my culture in two of the patterns you can see the Tongan flag and the Kangaroos from Australia. The two people are my uncles one is an All Blacks Player and the other one is one ads.

 LI: Create something that shares your sports interests and talents.

For this activity I put in whats my favourite sport? and How does my Pacific heritage help me play my sport? If you read what I wrote it has my cultures and why I Love being a Pacific Islander. I really love being able to do the challenges by myself and with others at school, the challenges are really fun because I got to expand my editing skills and I can show people who I am.

 

Lazy Sneakers

LI: To show others my learning by designing shoes

I did this activety because I got to show my favoreite BasketBall Players from the 90s and from today by desining shoes. For those who might not know who these people are, the top 2 shoes represents former 1980s BasketBall Players they both played for the Chicago Bulls and won Six NBA 

championships altogether, their coach was Phil Jackson he was there every NBA championships they won. The bottom represents shoes the best  BasketBall Players of this year on the left there is Giannis Antetokounmpo he plays for the Milwaukee Bucks and his coach is Mike Budenholzer and the Milwaukee Bucks have won 2 NBA championships. And on the right shoe represents Lebron James he plays for the Los Angeles Lakers and is one of the most best BasketBalls Players the world has ever seen. The Los Angeles Lakers have won 4 NBA championships that is 2 more then the Milwaukee Bucks have won and 2 less then what the Chicago Bulls won. My favoreite part about this activety is that I got to design these shoes by the colors of the BasketBall teams and also by the BasketBall Players.
