Recreating Famous Artworks

LI: To use Google Draw to recreate a famous artwork

LI: To use your knowledge of colour and colour mixing to replicate the colours used in the artworks.

This week we have been learning about famous artworks and colour mixing. The artwork I chose was "The Starry Night" by Vincent Van Gogh This artwork was painted in July 1889 It was painted because Theo intended to promote his elder brother's work after Vincent's death Today it can be found in MoMA in New York City I enjoyed this challenge because I got to recreate the famous painting "The Starry Night"

  1. Hi Carter
You have done a good job recreating The Starry Night picture, I hope you found this task fun and interesting. Your DLO contained lots of interesting facts. I found it interesting that Vincent Van Gogh was never famous as a painter during his lifetime and only sold one painting when he was alive.
    Good Work
